Service Description

This is a beginning pottery class designed to teach the basics of using the pottery wheel and creating functional pottery from start to finish. This class will focus on making bowls and cups. Class meets Tuesdays in May 11am - 1pm Week 1 (May 5) - Wheel basics - Learn to form cylinders and bowls on the wheel. Week 2 (May 12) - Wheel Practice - Continue creating work on the pottery wheel Week 3 (May 19) - Learn to trim work to create a finished edge or foot on each item. Week 4 (May 26) - Finish all work - paint with glaze to be fired. All finished pieces can be picked up the following week. Ages 13 +
